Premier U.S. door event set for October in San Antonio
For the first time in its history, the Association of Millwork Distributors announced this week it is extending a full registration opportunity to industry professionals as part of a new open attendance policy for its 45th annual convention and exposition. The event is set for San Antonio,Texas, October 7‐12, at the Marriott Rivercenter and Henry Gonzales Convention Center.

Atlanta event looks more promising as window and door makers gear up for better times
With the light the end of the tunnel coming into view, window and door manufacturers will make their way once again to GlassBuild America: The Glass, Window & Door Expo this fall. Las Vegas—On day three of last week’s International Builders’ Show, the government announced that housing start had hit their lowest level in 50 years ago.
