Great Day Adding Charlotte Location

Great Day Improvements LLC is opening a new Patio Enclosures operation in Monroe, N.C., to meet the residential remodeling needs of the growing metropolitan Charlotte market. The Ohio-based company recently expanded in Atlanta as well.

“Charlotte has shown population growth of more than 30 percent over the last 10 years,” says Steve White, managing director of Great Day Improvements, which acquired the Patio Enclosure business in January this year. “As the nation’s fifth largest urban region, we believe that this growth and the need for our quality products will continue.”

As Patio Enclosure's parent company, Great Day reports it is the largest manufacturer and installer of sunrooms and solariums in the U.S., with products sold through company stores, franchises and dealers.  In addition, the company is a dealer for Alside Windows, awnings, outdoor furniture, railing and fencing, as well as blinds, shades and other sunroom accessories.

“Our products are now better than ever,” White states. “We have designed components to meet our rigorous standards of value, safety and energy-efficiency. By maintaining oversight of the entire process, we are able to control costs and yet deliver a wider range of products for our customers.”
