Jeld-Wen Closing Wyoming Plant

Citing continued weak demand, Jeld-Wen Inc. is closing its vinyl window plant in Cheyenne, Wyo., according to a report in the Wyoming Tribune Eagle.  The 112 workers at the facility received notice from the company, which expects the site to be closed by mid-December.

The newspaper received a company statement that noted, "After extensive evaluation and discussion, we have decided to consolidate the business of our window plant in Cheyenne with other manufacturing operations."
