Weather Shield Reaches Agreement with One Union, Fails with Another

According to numerous local press accounts, Weather Shield Windows & Doors plans to keep its plant in Park Falls, Wis., open.  The decision was made following a union vote at the facility to accept a new contract that keeps wages frozen for two years, reports WAOW News.     

Meanwhile, union workers at Weather Shield's plant in Mosinee, Wis., have rejected the window and door manufacturer's latest contract proposal, according to a more recent report from the same television station:
