Iron Door Forms Design Partnership
The Iron Door Co. LLC has partnered with Henrietta Spencer-Churchill of Spencer-Churchill Designs to develop a new line of historically inspired iron doors. Sold under the Castle Entries brand,
Spencer-Churchill is the daughter of the 11th Duke of Marlborough, whose family home is Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. She has been running her own London-based interior design company since 1981. Her U.S. business, Spencer-Churchill Designs, specializes in the renovation of period homes and classic style, newly-constructed homes.
“This relationship provides a strategic focus for our Castle Door brand and will create additional exposure in the U.S. and abroad,” says Glen Blickenstaff, Iron Door CEO. Based in Birmingham, Ala., the company, which acquired the Castle Entries brand in 2009, manufactures hand-forged wrought iron doors designed to provide style, performance and security.
