Woodgrain Plans $7.5 Million Expansion in Rocky Mount

Building products company Woodgrain Inc. will invest $7.5 million to expand its door-hanging operation in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The company is headquartered in Idaho with operations in Chile and the U.S., including seven locations in North Carolina. This expansion will relocate Woodgrain's existing operation to a 225,000 square feet facility.

Additionally, the expansion will create 42 new jobs in Nash County, including production, warehouse, delivery, sales and administrative positions. The new jobs have the potential to create an annual payroll impact of more than $1.8 million. A performance-based grant of $100,000 from the One North Carolina Fund will help with Woodgrain's expansion in North Carolina.
