Bamboo Doors

Bamboo doors are available in a variety of styles, including a flush door collection that offers optional metal and wood inlays; a traditional stile-and-rail collection with optional plant-ons and decorative features; and a French door collection available in classic thin-line mullions or larger modern mid rails. From Green Leaf Doors, the lines include styles said to reflect the fusion of Asian Zen design and West Coast modern, as well as designs inspired by architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright. Made in the U.S., the doors are constructed with environmental practices as a top priority, the company states. Glues and finishes are free of toxic chemicals; the bamboo contributes to LEED credits for rapidly renewable materials; and the wood core contributes to LEED credits for recycled content, the manufacturer points out.  Doors are offered, slab or pre-hung, un-finished or pre-finished.
