The Window Energy Profiler and the corresponding Window Sales Brochure is a unique system for selling energy efficient windows. The Profiler device can be used to demonstrate the energy performance of a prospective buyer’s current windows, as well as the window samples carried
by the salesperson. The device can provide measurements for UV transmission, visible light transmission, infrared transmission and solar
heat gain coefficient.

As the profiler displays performance properties,
the brochure provides a place to record the performance numbers and see how current windows perform against the salesperson’s windows. The brochure also defines performance properties in easy-to-understand terms to allow homeowners to make educated buying decisions.

The combination of the device and brochure make the sales process hands-on, interactive and interesting. People are curious to see how their existing windows perform. With numbers and brochure, salespeople have tools to show how glass with an SHGC value of .28 will help prevent a living room from being turned into a sauna and how glass with lower UV transmission better protects belongings against fading and damage.
