Window + Door’s annual Top Manufacturers list (formerly, the Top 100 Manufacturers) is an important benchmarking tool for the industry. In addition to the industry growth this study tracks, the Top Manufacturers report also aims to provide a general overview of window and door manufacturer health. What challenges face the industry? How are companies tackling them? And how are companies responding to increasingly stringent codes and homeowner demands, all the while staying ahead of the competition in our booming sector?
Take our annual survey by this Friday, March 13, to be considered for our Top Manufacturers list and to share how your company is embodying innovation in fenestration.
Already this year, we’ve covered indicators of the robust market for manufacturers. Window + Door’s editor-in-chief Emily Thompson noted at the International Builders’ Show in January the key role fenestration plays to the building and architecture community as a whole.
She also observed how the industry’s innovation is moving well beyond buzzword status. Rather, the industry is embracing is and producing products that solve problems and, as she said, “the companies behind them dig deep into the realities of the building industry, their customers and end-users, the jobsite and the future of construction to bring those products to market.” Behind the scenes, manufacturers continue to innovate the processes, supply chain and adopt technology, such as augmented and virtual realities, to streamline operations.
The Top Manufacturers Report summarizes and enumerates these growth and innovation trends, tracking manufacturers’ innovations and successes. But we need your input to present the full picture. Please contribute to this exclusive industry study and fill out the survey by this Friday. Email me directly with comments and questions.
