Roto Introduces Family of "Solid" Door Hinges

Roto's Solid Hinge displayed on an entry doorAlthough hinges are rarely the main factor when it comes to choosing a specific front or patio door, professionals know their design has a decisive impact on the appearance of a door. Roto North America is now offering more technical versions, colors and surface finishes.

About the hinges

The Solid S range also includes screw-on hinges for all frame materials and requirements. The large adjustment distances enable custom adaptations on the hinge side that contribute to the functionality and durability of the door. Users can also cater to various overlap heights.

Door manufacturers can choose from a range of Solid B two- and three-part butt hinges for vinyl doors, and two- and three-part clamp hinges for aluminum doors. Their clamping blocks are adapted to the system-specific groove on the aluminum profile. On all butt hinges, the adjustment mechanisms are fully integrated into the hinge roller. This means that there’s no gap between the leaf hinge and frame hinge during adjustments and offset outlines are prevented. Continuous height, lateral and gasket compression adjustment make adaptations convenient.

With the Solid C concealed hinge, Roto offers a premium solution that can be used for inward and outward opening doors. The black version of the concealed hinge is a particularly popular choice for dark aluminum profiles.

Roto Solid door hinges achieved 200,000 opening cycles and come with a 10-year performance warranty. With the variety of available hinge types and surfaces, the Solid range offers manufacturers the ideal hinge for all door designs, frame materials and requirements, while still meeting the strictest requirements for corrosion protection.
