Scotchman Industries Introduces New Horizontal Bending and Straightening Press

Scotchman Industries introduced the HB-31 Horizontal Bending and Straightening Press, a compact hydraulic press designed to expand shop capabilities and deliver precision in bending, profiling and straightening operations.

The HB-31 combines hydraulic power with smart controls within a compact footprint of 45 inches wide by 30 inch diameter by 43 inches high. With 31 U.S. tons of force, a 5.3 HP motor, and a 7.5 inch stroke, this machine is built to handle demanding fabrication applications while maximizing valuable floor space.

The NC control system allows operators to set and monitor piston stroke values and store up to 100 custom work cycles, each with up to six steps per cycle. A manual/automatic operation selector and electric foot pedals provide smooth, precise piston movement for optimal control and safety.

Each HB-31 press is equipped with a complete tooling package, including a V-matrix die, matching V-die, resistance pins, and a manual back gauge.
