SafeGard 2 is a releasable limit device for casement windows. It meets the ASTM F2090 for window fall prevention safety requirements for self-resetting, egress capable, fall prevention devices. SafeGard limits the window opening to four inches and requires a dual action to release the device for egress. The device easily installs in the factory or in the field and is fully concealed when the unit is in the closed position. SafeGard is available for residential or commercial applications.
