Parallel Process Line

Erdman’s Vertical Insulating Glass Parallel Process Line derives its name from the innovation of shuttling the topping lite to a back lane, allowing the two glass lites to run parallel to each other, leading to a significant increase in speed, according to the company. Compared to traditional IG processes, the line is more ergonomic and has less wasted motion by the operator, company officials report. There are no manual touches to glass after washer and no close contact between operators. It requires three to four operators. The line also includes auto placement of spacer location, and argon is filled and finished on the line.

Matodi USA

The Battellino SRM 2000 is a sealing robot designed for small- to medium-sized businesses looking to add more automation to their insulating glass production capabilities. Windows continue to get larger and heavier, making hand-sealing much more difficult, time-consuming and costly. The sealing robot seals double- or
triple-glazed units with a maximum glass size of 3,000 millimeters by 2,000 mm, and in thicknesses of 3 mm to 12 mm.
