The Product

insulbar LI is a new thermal insulating bar technology that combines energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The reduced thermal conductivity of insulbar LI, compared to regular polyamide, is achieved by means of a special and innovative manufacturing process in which the glass fiber-reinforced polyamide material is foamed to created a porous structure. This foaming process occurs internally to the profile and does not affect the visual appearance as the outer skin remains unchanged. Compared with standard profiles made from solid polyamide, the lambda value of insulbar LI is improved by up to 30%. This improved value makes it possible to achieve greater or optimized U values while maintaining the same width thermal break and not requiring and additional redesign, engineering or manufacturing changes.
