Jeld-Wen shared the following statement on its website in response to the coronavirus:
We consider safety to be our top priority at Jeld-Wen. The well-being of our associates, our partners, and our customers are all critically important to us as we strive to be a leading example of a safety culture.
As we continue to monitor the spread of Coronavirus, we are taking proactive steps to protect our customers, employees and other business partners. We are following state-issued guidelines and mandates regarding continuing operations, to minimize the risk of virus spread. In locations where we are operating, we have enhanced our hygiene and sanitization procedures to minimize exposure risk, and established protocols for immediately addressing situations where there was even the slightest possibility of indirect exposure to COVID-19. We also continue to follow guidelines from the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to protect our employees and those with whom they interact. We are working diligently to meet customer needs while also keeping safety top of mind. We encourage you to also take necessary precautions to protect yourself and those around you.
