Farsad Fotouhi will join Jeld-Wen as vice president of sustainability and social governance, effective Oct. 18, responsible for the company's environmental, social and governance function (ESG) globally.
Farsad has more than 25 years of leadership experience in global health, safety, environment and sustainability for multinational companies and government agencies. He most recently served as global head, environmental, safety & sustainability at Siemens Healthineers where he oversaw and advised management about ways to improve environmental performance and reduce risk across a global organization.
Prior to Siemens Healthineers, Farsad was director of global energy & sustainability at Danaher and vice president of global health, safety and environmental at Pall Corp. Earlier in his career, he served as an environmental engineer officer at the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.
Farsad’s work has been cited in several publications and he has been awarded the Outstanding Engineering Award on two different occasions from the National Groundwater Association for his efforts to treat and manage groundwater.
