Andrew Yang, New York City mayoral candidate and former presidential candidate, visited and toured the headquarters and main production facility of Crystal Window & Door Systems in Queens, New York, last month. During his visit, Yang had the opportunity to view in person the operations of Crystal’s 370-employee, 205,000-square-foot facility and met with Thomas Chen, Crystal's chairman, and Steve Chen, president.

“While we do not endorse any specific candidates, it was great to meet with Mr. Yang to familiarize him with the Crystal success story and the business challenges a major New York City manufacturer and employer faces,” says Steve Chen. “The next mayor of New York City will also face many challenges, and the business and manufacturing communities here must be key partners in keeping New York the great city it is.”

Yang’s visit was part of his “NY Recovery Week” 5-Borough tour of businesses throughout the city. New York’s primary elections are in June, with the general election in November of this year.
