Intercept Extreme was engineered through a collaboration between GED Integrated Solutions, Vitro Architectural Glass and Technoform. Intercept Extreme delivers high thermal performance, helping window systems achieve or exceed Energy Star 7.0 criteria. 

Its thermally broken hybrid construction—stainless steel sidewalls paired with a low conductivity polymer bridge—reduces heat transfer, improves condensation resistance, and enhances long term IGU durability. Designed to run on Intercept 2.5 equipment up to 85 feet per minute, the system enables fabricators to upgrade performance without disrupting production throughput. Intercept Extreme has passed rigorous durability testing (ASTM 2188/2189/2190), demonstrating excellent moisture resistance, gas retention and weatherability.
