Chelsea Building Products to Build Manufacturing Facility

Chelsea Building Products finalized the purchase of a 29.98-acre plot of land in Madison, Pennsylvania, located in Westmoreland County. Formally a Westinghouse Property about 30 minutes east of Pittsburgh, Chelsea Building Products plans to build a 228,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in addition to its headquarters in Oakmont, Pennsylvania.

The facility, to be known as Chelsea Building Products East, will support the manufacturing operation that will extrude PVC-based window and door profiles. It will also incorporate a blending facility that will supply the PVC compound to Chelsea Building Products East and Chelsea Building Products South in Greenville, Texas.

Chelsea Building Products plans to break ground on the new development in 2025 and is expected to employ 100-150 workers within five years of opening its doors.
