National manufacturer Crystal Window & Door Systems continues the expansion of extruded dark color finishes across its vinyl product lines. The Crystal Series 200 vinyl window line is now available with an extruded black color option, Crystal FusionCore 360.
The new Crystal FusionCore 360 finish is in response to demand from homeowners, architects, developers, and builders for dark window frames and sashes for modern building designs. The extruded black vinyl option for the Series 200 line joins the finish options available for the recently launched Series 800 single-hung vinyl line, which includes co-extruded capstock FusionCore and FusionCore Max black and bronze two-tone and monotone colors.
Crystal's FusionCore 360 technology for the Series 200 windows features fully extruded black vinyl sash and frame component materials, providing consistent color across interior and exterior surfaces. The extruded black FusionCore 360 finish is one of several color options available for the Series 200 vinyl line, in double-hung, picture, sliding, and projected casement, awning, and hopper styles.
The Series 200 window line is a 3-¼-inch jamb depth vinyl window with fusion-welded multi-chamber frame and sash profiles. Besides the FusionCore 360 black extruded color option, the Series 200 window line comes standard in white or beige and has additional painted color finish options.
All Series 200 product line styles have specific features and performance ratings. The double-hung model features tilt-in sashes, dual vent locks, lift rails, auto-activating sash locks, and is rated R-PG50. The picture Series 211 window is rated R-PG60. The Series 220 sliding window has brass rollers, an R-PG35 rating, and is available in 2- and 3-lite versions. The casement Series 235 has a multi-point locking system and is rated LC-PG40, while the awning Series 245 window is rated LC-PG50. A ⅞-inch glazing pocket and dual-pane IGUs are standard across the Series 200 line, with a triple glass option. Low-E glass and argon gas filling are also standard for these windows.
