Deceuninck North America recognized more than 50 employees at a celebratory luncheon. Employees achieving five-year milestones were honored for their service, with careers ranging from five to 35 years. Four employees reached a 35 year milestone.

Employee recognition

“Our employees are the heartbeat of our organization,” says Terrence Ceulemans, president of Deceuninck North America. “Their dedication is what makes our innovation possible and we are proud to recognize the people who drive our success.”

The luncheon brought together more than 75 team members, and the honored employees represented a wide range of roles across the organization. This included extrusion and compound operators, office personnel, maintenance staff, technical services, lamination, and tool room professionals. Together, the honored employees represent more than 555 cumulative years of service.

“As the window and door industry faces ongoing skilled labor shortages, our long-tenured workforce demonstrates the strength of our culture and our commitment to employee development,” says Ceulemans. “Employees and customers always come first. The dedication of our team is what keeps us on the leading edge of innovation.”

What's next at Deceuninck

The celebration coincides with Deceuninck’s ongoing transformation of its Monroe, Ohio, headquarters into a Factory of the Future. As the company invests in advanced automation, upgraded extrusion technologies, and streamlined production flow, additional staffing is needed to support the operation. Deceuninck is seeking to hire up to 100 new production workers over the next couple of months to help power this next phase of growth.

“Growing our team is essential as we evolve our plant and prepare for the future of manufacturing,” says Ceulemans. “We are excited to welcome the next generation of talent.”
