Extrusia Launches Integrated Software Suite for Window and Door Manufacturers

Extrusia has introduced a cloud-based manufacturing software suite developed specifically for window and door manufacturers. The platform connects dealer quoting and order entry, ERP, production management, quality control, shipping, financial workflows and management reporting within a single system. The Extrusia Suite includes Dealer Connect, Extrusia ERP, LINK and JOSIE, an AI-powered manufacturing assistant.

Suite details

Dealer Connect provides manufacturers with a self-service portal for their dealer network. Dealers can configure window and door products, prepare quotes and submit orders electronically. The system also allows dealers and contractors to apply their own margins and generate customer-facing quotes, helping eliminate duplicate order entry while extending the manufacturer's digital workflow to its customers.

Extrusia ERP manages the order after it enters the manufacturer's operation, supporting workflows from sales and order processing through production, quality control, shipping, billing and accounts receivable. Unlike general-purpose ERP platforms adapted for fenestration, Extrusia was developed around the processes and terminology used in window and door manufacturing.

For plant and company leadership, LINK provides real-time operational visibility. Dashboards allow managers to monitor production activity, throughput, lead times, work in process, quality, shipping and operational exceptions. This gives leadership a centralized view of what is happening throughout the manufacturing operation without requiring information to be assembled from multiple systems or reports.

Extrusia also incorporates JOSIE, an AI assistant that allows authorized users to interact with manufacturing data using natural language. Users can ask questions about orders, production, scheduling, materials, quality, shipping, dealers and exceptions. JOSIE is being designed to go beyond answering questions by assisting authorized users with operational tasks inside Extrusia.

The platform was developed and initially deployed inside Earthwise of Kansas City, an operating window manufacturing company. This environment allowed Extrusia to be developed, tested and refined using actual manufacturing workflows and production requirements. During its initial go-live week, Earthwise of Kansas City achieved approximately 95% of its normal weekly production volume while transitioning to the new system.

Extrusia is designed for window and door manufacturers seeking a modern alternative to disconnected quoting, ERP, production and reporting systems, with an emphasis on dealer connectivity, operational visibility and practical applications of artificial intelligence.
