Quebec-based window and door company Fenplast has created Fenplast Group, a new name for the organization that brings together its manufacturing operations, its retail network and Altek windows and doors.
New president named
The company also announced a leadership change. Founder Jean Marchand, who has led the company for many years, is handing the role of president to Serge Lavoie, who previously served as general manager. Marchand will remain involved as chairman of the board.
About the rebrand
Fenplast Group will not be a commercial brand. Instead, the name refers to all the companies under the organization’s umbrella. They are Altek windows and doors, Les portes A.R.D., Fenplast, Fenplast Boutiques and Lajeunesse, and each will keep operating under its current name.
The company said the change is meant to better align the expertise of its divisions, support innovation and strengthen its capacity for growth, while keeping the operations, brands and teams that built its reputation.
