Fleetwood Windows and Doors announced the availability of its first wood-panel door, the 4400 Wood Pivot door. Developed in response to architect feedback and trends in biophilic and organic design, this innovation joins Fleetwood’s Gen4 product line.
Product details
The Wood Pivot door is designed to merge the aesthetics of real wood with Fleetwood’s signature framing. The result supports nature-inspired design and sustainability principles that integrate with the brand’s portfolio of building products.
The 4400 Wood Pivot door incorporates Fleetwood’s proprietary, American-made hardware, as well as its flow-through sill, a slim slot drain that provides additional weather protection. The product pairs natural wood panels with Fleetwood’s Gen4 4400-T pivot door frame. The door contains an aluminum honeycomb core for reduced weight and warp resistance. A variant, the Horizontal Lites design, uses a steel core for added strength. The 4400 Wood Pivot door is available in more than fifty custom variations with seven wood species and eight modern design options.
