As part of its commitment to support rebuild efforts following the 2025 Southern California wildfires, Fleetwood Windows & Doors will meet with homeowners and trade professionals and showcase its fire-resilient solutions at the WestEdge Design Fair at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, October 29-31.

In partnership with Team Palisades, Fleetwood will exhibit alongside the ReBuild LA Connect Lounge, a dedicated hub connecting homeowners and professionals with the brands, products, and resources supporting affected communities.

“Fleetwood Windows & Doors feels a deep responsibility to help build back better,” says Rebecca Cottrell, general manager of Fleetwood Windows & Doors. “We have been a part of Southern California for more than 60 years and have witnessed wildfire destruction firsthand. Through events like WestEdge and our collaboration with local architects, builders, and homeowners, we want to help rebuild homes that are designed with greater fire resilience in mind.”

Fleetwood will showcase its high-performance 3070-T Sliding Door, a thermally broken aluminum multi-slide door system designed for expansive indoor-outdoor living spaces. The door features non-combustible 6063-T6 aluminum, marine-grade 316 stainless steel hardware, and tempered insulated glass, and it served a key role in the “Miracle House” that survived the Palisades wildfires. The system also meets California Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) and Title-24 requirements.

As a Southern California company, Fleetwood has taken an active role in the region’s wildfire recovery through its Fire Rebuild Program and partnerships with organizations including Team Palisades, Case Study 2.0, Build Pali Back, and the Malibu-Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce. Through these efforts, Fleetwood is helping homeowners access fire-resilient products and designs while supporting a streamlined path to rebuilding. The company is also partnering with PaliTV on a documentary about the rebuild of a Palisades home with PaliTV CCO, Felix Werner.

At WestEdge, Fleetwood will participate in “Rebuilding L.A.: What Comes Next,” a panel presented by Team Palisades. Ron Marome of Fleetwood Windows & Doors will join architects and industry leaders for a discussion about the region’s recovery, permitting, and the challenges and opportunities shaping the rebuilding process. The panel is scheduled for October 31 at 4:30 p.m.

The Fleetwood team will be available at WestEdge to connect with architects and builders on specification guidance and its high-performance, minimalist window and door systems designed for fire-resilient residential design.
