Included soft-close hardware helps ensure smooth and quiet movement of oversized, solid-core architectural doors weighing up to 330 pounds each in the 200SDSC Soft Operating Sliding Bypass Door Hardware set. For residential- or commercial-grade applications, the product line is offered in two-, three- or four-door configurations and in sets for standard door sizes or by individual parts for custom installations. A quick-release locking tab allows for easy door removal. The precision-extruded, jump-proof I-beam track is available in up to 16-foot lengths. This series is engineered for durability and long-term performance.
For homeowners, builders, designers and architects looking to take full advantage of lofty ceilings, installing an extra-tall pocket door system offers both aesthetic drama and functional benefits. With soaring ceilings increasingly common in new and remodeled spaces, doors up to 10 feet tall help emphasize grandeur and continuity while adding privacy.
The 2060SC heavy-duty soft-close pocket-door frame kit is engineered for premium applications and oversized doors up to 10 feet tall and weighing up to 330 pounds. Large, heavy doors glide smoothly and close gently due to Johnson’s signature soft-close feature. The companion 1515 Ply Clip set can be installed with 5/8-inch plywood to reinforce the pocket cavity and provide support for objects attached to the wall, such as cabinetry or tile.
Johnson’s aluminum bypass systems 2200, 2200F, 2222 and 2204 now carry heavier doors weighing up to 75 pounds each. In addition, steel bypass systems 1166 and 1138 now install with doors weighing up to 60 pounds each.
These door hardware solutions cater to the needs of both residential and commercial applications.
