Johnson Hardware’s 2066 soft-close for heavy-duty doors is newly available with the 200SDSC sliding bypass door hardware line. It is designed for high-end, heavy-traffic residential and commercial projects.
The 200SDSC is offered in two-, three- or four-door configurations.
This bypass hardware is ideal for heavy architectural door installations demanding extended life and smooth trouble-free operation. The versatile 200SDSC line is available in pre-configured sets for standard size doors or as a component for custom door applications.

Enabling door movement to gradually slow when approaching jambs for a quiet and secure closure, 2066 Soft-Close Kit can be obtained in bidirectional or single-direction hardware sets. Bidirectional hardware sets are used for applications where each door soft operates in either direction, and require a door minimum of 28 inches wide. Single-direction hardware sets are intended for doors a minimum of 20 inches wide to softly operate in a single direction. The top-hung hardware does not require a bottom guide track. Each door slides the distance of its own width.
The hardware can be used with doors weighing up to a maximum 330 pounds and 1-1/8 inches thick. Among the leading features are nylon-encapsulated ball bearing wheels that roll smoothly and quietly. Due to the tripod rocker design, equal weight is carried by all wheels.
A height-adjustable hanger bolt ensures exacting door alignment. If removal of doors is ever required, a quick-release locking tab allows their removal without having to drop the track.
The precision-extruded, jump-proof I-beam track is available in up to16-foot lengths. Track extrusions enable a variety of door thicknesses. Heavy-duty track stops clamp securely to the track profile, to limit door travel at the desired position.
The 201 Door Guide Set features three floor-mounted door guide posts keeping doors in place and divisible for a variety of door thicknesses. Posts can be topped by molded nylon caps for quiet, smooth operation. Guide plates’ mounting holes enable precise door positioning.
