Christopher Bauer of Kolbe Windows & Doors has been promoted to director of information technology. Bauer and his team ensure IT security and end-user support, as well as server, network and end-user device infrastructure.
Reporting to David Zentrich, vice president of information technology, Bauer leads Kolbe’s technology strategy and manages the IT department’s infrastructure team. He has worked with Kolbe since 2004 and draws from 27 years of IT experience. Prior to his promotion, Bauer served as Kolbe’s IT infrastructure and support manager.
“Chris has proven himself to be much more than a technical leader, with a unique ability to balance strategic thinking with operational excellence,” says Zentrich. “Working closely with Chris, we have modernized and transformed many areas of IT at Kolbe.
