Kwikset announced the launch of the Kwikset Peralta 2-point locking handleset, adding a contemporary design option to its dual-lock lineup. Alongside the existing Kwikset Montara 2-point locking handleset, the expanded portfolio gives homeowners a choice between modern and traditional styles.

Peralta features a clean and minimalist profile designed for homeowners who prefer a modern entryway. The handleset pairs its contemporary aesthetic with a 2-point locking system and Kwikset’s SmartKey Security, which helps guard against advanced break-in techniques and allows users to re-key the locks in seconds. Peralta is available in Satin Nickel, Matte Black and Satin Brass.
Montara serves as the traditional counterpart in the 2-point locking lineup. It features beveled details and a classic silhouette. Montara is available in Satin Nickel, Venetian Bronze and Polished Brass.
Both Peralta and Montara feature two locking points, including a keyed deadbolt and a keyed grip. Each product comes with an interior deadbolt turn piece and either an interior lever or knob. The handlesets are designed to fit standard doors and can be installed with a screwdriver. Peralta features a fully adjustable throughbolt and Montara has a 3-position bolt, which allows the handlesets to accommodate most door preparations. Each product carries a lifetime mechanical and finish warranty.
