Lepage Millwork To Acquire Fenêtres MQ From Andersen

Lepage Millwork has agreed to acquire Fenêtres MQ from Andersen, bringing the custom luxury window and door business under the ownership of a family-owned Canadian manufacturer focused on high-end architectural products. The companies are targeting a December 2026 closing.

Fenêtres MQ serves homeowners, builders, designers, developers, and architects across North America and manufactures products in Spilimbergo, Italy.

Founded in 1975, the company specializes in custom luxury wood, aluminum-clad wood, steel, and bronze windows and doors. Andersen acquired Fenêtres MQ from its original founder in 2017.

The transaction is intended to preserve Fenêtres MQ’s emphasis on customized products, craftsmanship, and architectural design while placing the company within an organization with similar manufacturing capabilities and market positioning.

Lepage Millwork has produced high-end custom windows and doors since 1947 from its operations in Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec.

The company manages its manufacturing process in-house, beginning with raw lumber and continuing through final assembly. Lepage combines traditional craftsmanship with advanced manufacturing and customization to serve customers in Canada and the U.S. through independent dealers.

The acquisition will bring together Lepage’s North American manufacturing heritage with Fenêtres MQ’s European production capabilities and expertise in highly customized architectural applications.

Fenêtres MQ is expected to continue serving its existing customer base and maintaining its sales and service presence throughout North America.

Andersen, meanwhile, will continue operating its broader portfolio of window and door businesses.

“Fenêtres MQ has a proud history of craftsmanship and creating distinctive products that deliver elegance, superior performance, and innovative design for some of the most prestigious architectural applications,” says Chris Galvin, chairman And CEO Of Andersen Corporation

The company employs more than 14,000 people and operates manufacturing facilities across North America.

The planned ownership transition reflects Lepage’s strategy of expanding its capabilities in the premium window and door market while maintaining the specialized positioning that has defined Fenêtres MQ for more than five decades.

“We thank Andersen for its stewardship of Fenêtres MQ, and we are honored to carry that legacy forward,” says François-Xavier And Marc-Antoine Bonneville, co-owners of Lepage Millwork.
