UL 2809-2 Recycled Content validation is part of UL Solutions’ Environmental Claim Validation program, a globally recognized, third-party process that evaluates and confirms recycled content claims in manufactured products. Through rigorous scientific assessment and supply chain validation, this validation confirms that sustainability claims—such as the percentage and type of recycled materials used—are accurate, credible, and free from “greenwashing.”
By meeting this standard, the GP102 demonstrates verified use of recycled materials, validated through a chain-of-custody approach that tracks material integrity from source to finished product.
