Miami Smart-Glass Installer Debuts Free Cost Calculator and Certification Badge for Training Academy

Deluxe Smart Film Corp, a South Florida installer of PDLC switchable privacy film founded in 2020, has published a free online cost calculator for switchable film and a graduate badge program for installers who complete its training academy.

The calculator prices common jobs — frameless shower doors, two-panel sliding glass doors, glass front doors, office partitions — or any custom pane size, at the company's published installed range of $55 to $90 per square foot. No sign-up is required; the company says the tool exists so homeowners and facility managers can qualify a project before booking the free site visit that fixes the price in writing.

Deluxe Smart Film Academy, the company's training program for installers, now issues a graduate badge that graduates can display on their websites and proposals, with a graduate list published on the same page. Graduates outside South Florida are welcome; the company does not compete for their local work.

Deluxe Smart Film has completed more than 500 installations across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties — glass front doors, sliding doors, bathrooms and showers, office partitions and conference rooms, hotel guest rooms and storefronts. It also installs solar-control, safety and decorative window film as a complement to switchable film. Founder Awadrey Delgado came to smart film from commercial electrical work; the company's installations emphasize concealed low-voltage wiring, transformer placement and sealed film edges for South Florida humidity.
