At the National Fenestration and Rating Council's Fall Membership Meeting, NFRC Board Chair Tony Cinnamon announced the permanent establishment of the NFRC Legends Hall of Fame to commemorate individuals whose exemplary service and enduring contributions have significantly advanced NFRC’s mission and the broader fenestration industry.
First introduced at last year’s NFRC 35th anniversary celebration, the Hall of Fame will now serve as an ongoing tribute to those whose leadership, expertise, and commitment have left a lasting impact.
2025 NFRC Legends inductee
Marc LaFrance was honored as the 2025 NFRC Legends inductee. LaFrance recently retired from the U.S. Department of Energy following a 40-year career in public service. Since attending his first NFRC meeting in 2004, he has been an advocate for energy efficiency and a partner in advancing NFRC’s work.
"His contributions to ENERGY STAR, NFRC and the fenestration industry have helped elevate national standards and inspire industry-wide progress. LaFrance’s legacy is one of impact, integrity, and inspiration. NFRC proudly recognizes Marc LaFrance as a true legend in our field," say NFRC officials.
