ODL’s Impact Rated Fiberglass Entry System Earns 2026 Best of Products Editors’ Pick

ODL, Inc. has been awarded an Editors’ Pick in Architect’s Newspaper’s 2026 Best of Products Awards. Recognized in the Openings – Doors category, the system combines severe-weather performance with a refined frame design engineered for easier installation and serviceability.

The 2026 Architect’s Newspaper’s Best of Products Awards elite jury recognized new products for innovation, aesthetics, performance, sustainability, and value, connecting them with an audience of more than 1 million architects and other design professionals.

“We’re proud to have our Impact Rated Fiberglass Entry System with Keystone Frame Technology recognized by Architect’s Newspaper and its 2026 Best of Products Awards,” says Derek Fielding, vice president of Strategic Marketing and Business Development, ODL. “Keystone reflects how we approach product innovation—combining proven performance with thoughtful design improvements that make installation and long-term service easier while delivering the finished appearance our customers expect.”

Constructed from lightweight uPVC, Keystone delivers high-performance weather protection while reducing the weight and finishing challenges of traditional aluminum frames. Keystone is certified to meet Florida’s and Texas’ severe-weather requirements at ±65 DP and meets High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) and Wind-Borne Debris Region (WBDR) standards when paired with ODL Impact Rated Doorglass, providing a solution for demanding high-wind, severe weather environments.

The Keystone Impact Rated Frame features a 3/8-inch flat profile with welded miter corners and snap-on interior cover caps that eliminate visible screw plugs for a clean, finished appearance.

The Grip-and-Release System uses interlocking stems to secure the frame without permanent adhesive while allowing removal for servicing without damage. A co-extruded seal helps limit debris accumulation between the frame and glass and reduce paint seepage during finishing. An H-Channel design helps align and cushion the insulated glass to prevent damage.

The frame is available in multiple standard and specialty sizes and is compatible with a broad selection of ODL impact-rated doorglass styles, including decorative and textured glass options.
