Pella Corporation Completes Acquisition of Lawson Industries

Pella Corporation has completed the acquisition of aluminum window and door manufacturer Lawson Industries Inc. The closing of this transaction aims to bolster Pella’s presence in Florida and enable the company to serve all customers and channels with its portfolio of materials, brands and services. 

Goals of the acquisition

Lawson has served the Florida market for more than 60 years with its team of approximately 300 team members. The company offers an understanding of the unique needs of Florida customers. The combination of these two brands is expected to accelerate growth, create operational efficiencies and enhance the customer experience.

The acquisition hopes to enable Pella to strategically expand and build scale in the high-growth Florida area. Lawson hopes to benefit from Pella’s expertise in driving operating improvements, while Pella’s family of brands aims to be strengthened by leveraging Lawson’s aluminum offerings across its distribution channels.
