Rehau launches its Rehau Attivo hardware program, which includes the European-made Kovinoplastika Lož Hardware ARXspin line throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. This window and door hardware range, manufactured using the ARXCoat hot-dip galvanizing process is designed to add elegance and longevity to tilt-turn, turn and hopper windows as well as balcony doors.
The product range being offered in North America through the Rehau Attivo hardware program includes Rehau-branded components for window and balcony door configurations that can support up to 287-pound sash weight and up to 94 1/2-inch sash height. Options for rollers and locking cams provide different levels of security. Handles and cover caps are available in up to eight standard colors.

The current selection of tilt-turn style hardware offers surface protection that exceeds Grade 5 of BS EN1670 (480 hours exposure to salt spray). A built-in R-cam feature allows the installer or owner to optimize the window compression by +/-1.2 mm. Where wall conditions permit, the full-range hinge provides 180-degree opening and a night vent feature sets the window handle at a 45-degree angle.
The Rehau Attivo hardware program is manufactured using a quality management system that has been certified to the latest version of ISO 9001 and is supported by a 10-year limited warranty, according to the company.
