Roto North America Exhibits Windowsand Door Hardware at Fensterbau Frontale
At Fensterbau Frontale, Roto North America showcased a variety of windows, sliding patio door products and hinged doors.
Windows
Outward-opening and Casement & Awning hardware systems, are particularly common in North America. At Fensterbau Frontale 2026, Roto presented not only numerous Tilt&Turn solutions featuring Roto NX and Roto AL, but also a Casement & Awning window equipped with the X-DRIVE Operator, manufactured by Roto Frank of America, Inc. in the U.S. This window, as well as all other solutions presented at the trade show, is now also available to interested parties in the virtual Roto City where a Roto sales representative can take visitors on a tour through the buildings and rooms and provide advice on the respective applications.
The Roto Comfort window has an extended, ergonomically shaped window handle that is mounted on the lower horizontal sash and opens it either to the tilt or turn position. Special components such as the comfort sash stay and an espagnolette ensure exceptionally smooth operation.
Roto now offers two comfort ventilation options for wooden profile systems featuring the Roto NX | C concealed hinge side and a 13 millimeter axis. A key feature of both versions is the forced opening of the window sash to a defined angle, triggered by the movement of the comfort handle. This makes it possible to ventilate rooms, but prevents the window from inadvertently being opened fully.
Hinged doors and sliding patio door hardware
Sliding patio doors and windows allow for maximum space utilization. Roto Window and Door Technology offers hardware solutions for all frame materials and sliding opening types—from Lift&Slide, Tilt&Slide, to Parallel Sliding systems. At Fensterbau Frontale, Roto presented its sliding hardware systems. All trade show exhibits were integrated into the virtual Roto City and can be revisited by anyone guided by a Roto specialist.
For door manufacturers worldwide, Roto Frank Window and Door Technology offers a complete range of hinged doors made of vinyl, wood, and aluminum. Roto’s door hinges, multi-point locks, and thresholds can also be utilized as system components for greater ease of use, burglary inhibition and sound and thermal insulation.
For example, Roto Solid B butt hinges are often utilized in aluminum door applications. These hinges come in a variety of color options. The two-part Roto Solid B | 224 A version for aluminum doors is suitable for sash weights of up to 265 pounds. The three-dimensional adjustment mechanism for lateral, vertical and gasket compression adjustment is integrated into the hinge roller on all butt hinges in the Solid B product range, ensuring that neither gaps nor misalignments occur during hinge adjustment. This preserves the slim design regardless of the hinge setting.
