Chris Dimou, president & CEO of Roto Frank of America, Inc. and president of the Americas region for the Roto Frank Group, participated in the 2026 Connecticut Invention Convention (CIC) State Finals Awards Ceremony, held on May 30, 2026, at the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Connecticut.

The annual event brought together some of Connecticut’s innovative K–12 student inventors, showcasing creative solutions to real-world challenges and celebrating excellence in STEM education, design, and entrepreneurship.

Dimou, who has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Invention Convention since 2017, joined educators, industry leaders, and community partners in recognizing the achievements of this year’s finalists and award recipients. Roto Frank of America is also a sponsor of the Connecticut Invention Convention.

“The level of creativity, confidence, and problem-solving demonstrated by these students is truly inspiring,” says Dimou. “Programs like the Connecticut Invention Convention are critical in shaping the next generation of innovators. By connecting education with industry, we can help ensure a strong and sustainable talent pipeline for the future.”
