Typar to Showcase Weather Protection Product Innovations at IBS
Typar will spotlight its latest advancements in building-envelope performance at the 2026 International Builders’ Show, Feb. 17–19 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Typar is a provider of high-performance building wrap, flashing, tapes and accessories.
Located in booth W2966, Typar will highlight new and expanded solutions designed to help residential and commercial builders streamline installation, improve inspection confidence and deliver long-term durability, without compromising efficiency on the jobsite.
What to expect from Typar
Headlining the booth is Typar FlangeFlash, a purpose-built flashing solution engineered to simplify window and door installations while improving long-term weather protection. Designed for fast, consistent application, FlangeFlash helps ensure reliable sealing at critical rough-opening details—supporting both installation accuracy and overall system performance across residential and light commercial projects. FlangeFlash earned recognition as a finalist for the Best of IBS Awards, which are awarded annually during the show.
“Typar FlangeFlash reflects how we’re continuing to evolve our flashing portfolio around real jobsite needs—speed, reliability and confidence in the final installation,” says Addison Seay, Typar brand manager. “At IBS, we’re showing how our system approach helps builders and contractors protect the building envelope more efficiently, while meeting rising expectations for performance and durability.”
Also featured is Typar Clear Acrylic Flashing, a transparent window and door flashing and the 2025 Best of IBS Award – Most Innovative Building Material Product winner. Developed in response to emerging code and inspection requirements, Clear Acrylic Flashing allows full visibility of nail and screw fin patterns during installation, helping reduce inspection issues and costly callbacks, while delivering waterproofing, UV resistance and flexibility through its acrylic adhesive.
Typar will also showcase its new Liquid Flashing, a elastomeric liquid flashing formulated for window and door installations, joint detailing and air-barrier components in both new construction and retrofit applications. Liquid Flashing offers adhesion without primer on most substrates, cures within 48–72 hours and provides performance across a wide range of temperatures.
IBS social event
During the show, Typar will also host a social event in booth W2966 from 2–4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, offering attendees an opportunity to connect with the Typar team and learn more about its product portfolio.
