Winco Window Company Announces the Retirement of Gerry Cooper

Winco Window Company announced the retirement of Gerry Cooper, a Winco Window Company Sales Representative in Colorado Springs, Colorado, after more than 30 years in the fenestration industry.

Cooper has represented Winco window systems through his own business, Cooperform, Inc., an architectural products representation agency established in 1992 to provide specialized glass, framing, and metal solutions throughout the Intermountain region.

Of the many projects involving Cooper’s expertise, one of the standouts is the transformation of the historic Albuquerque Rail Yards | Flue Shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The site has 18 buildings built between 1915 and 1925, including four oversized maintenance facilities for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. To recreate the original windows, Cooper recommended Winco 3250 Steel Replica windows with a dark bronze trim for the renovation of the Flue Shop.

What people are saying

“Serving the design, manufacturing, and contracting communities from project conception through completion has been rewarding,” says Cooper. “I am especially proud to have provided a wide selection of architectural and commercial grade aluminum windows and terrace doors that hold up to the dynamic climate changes of our region."

"I am happy to call Gerry a colleague and friend,” says Kurtis Suellentrop, vice president of sales and marketing at Winco. “My family and I have enjoyed some fun meals and Cardinals/Rockies debates with him and his family! We all send our best wishes to Gerry on his future adventures.”
