Smart Wiring for Smart Windows
Quanex introduces PowerLink by AmesburyTruth, a fully articulating hinged wiring conduit designed to provide hardwired power transfer between the window frame and operable sash in casement and awning windows. PowerLink enables manufacturers to integrate smart technologies while preserving the performance, ventilation and emergency egress benefits of traditional operable windows.
Its durable, concealed design is engineered to accommodate the movement of operable window components while keeping wiring protected and out of sight. PowerLink opens the door to advanced technologies such as switchable privacy glass, electrochromic tinting, solar energy harvesting and motorized blinds-between-the-glass.
Unlike battery-powered solutions, PowerLink provides a reliable pathway for hardwired connectivity, helping manufacturers expand smart window capabilities without compromising operability.
Looking for a way to differentiate your window offerings and deliver next-generation performance? PowerLink can help make smart windows smarter.
