Sliding Window Window Opening Control Devices, or WOCDs, are available for wood, composite and vinyl applications. Each WOCD is easy to install and will limit the window opening to four inches, say company officials. When the device is released and the sash is returned to a fully closed position, the WOCD will automatically reset. All WOCDs are tested to meet ASTM F2090 requirements for fall prevention, emergency escape and rescue.
