NAHB Chairman Greg Ugalde Issues Statement about Joint Employer Rule

Greg Ugalde, chairman of the National Association of Home Builders, issued the following statement on the final joint employer rule issued by the U.S. Department of Labor:
"NAHB commends the Department of Labor for issuing a final joint employer rule that provides certainty and clarity in determining joint employer status under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The return to a test that focuses on the potential employer's actual exercise of control or supervision will have a substantial positive impact on regulated employers and small businesses, including home builders and specialty trade contractors."
