Continental Displaying New Exterior Film Colors at GlassBuild

Continental Surface Solutions will display four new colors from its portfolio of exterior films solutions at the 2026 GlassBuild America show, Sept. 23–25 in Las Vegas.

Featuring an innovative, scratch-resistant grain with a sand-matte texture, theContinental Surface Solutions Mattex collection is the most matte covering for plastic profiles currently on the market. The Mattex line has a realistic aluminum feel, outstanding technical properties, and includes a 10-year warranty on colorfastness and surface properties.

The company is also highlighting its Mattex Shine product line, which combines a matte finish with a metallic shine, similar to high-end, powder-coated aluminum.

The company will highlight the following new colors from the Mattex line:

1. Mattex Chestnut Brown: a deep, warm natural brown with rich red-brown undertones.
2. Mattex Clay: an in-demand color with a red earth hue that brings the feel of natural living to surfaces.
3. Mattex Green Grey: a muted, sophisticated neutral that complements natural materials and greenery.

4. Mattex Beige Grey: a warm, low-saturation neutral that is soft and inviting and blends well with brick, stucco and natural materials.
